Expert Emergency Roof Repair in Somerset, KY

When your roof takes a hit in Somerset, waiting is not an option. Thoroughbred Roofing handles emergency roof repair for Pulaski County homeowners dealing with active leaks, missing shingles, damaged flashing, and storm-related structural concerns. Somerset sits in south-central Kentucky, where severe weather brings strong winds, heavy rain, hail, and the real threat of tornadoes. That weather pattern means roofs here face hard, repeated stress across every season. Our team inspects the full roof system, not just the visible damage. We identify where water is entering, assess the decking and underlayment, and repair the source of the problem. Homes near Lake Cumberland and on sloped lots often face added drainage pressure after heavy rain, which can push water into vulnerable spots faster. We document what we find and walk you through every repair decision before work begins. Call Thoroughbred Roofing when your Somerset home needs emergency attention.

Response to owner: In the owners response it makes it appear it is possible that it could be a plumbing issue. It was confirmed by a plumber that there were no plumbing issues. So the roof was the cause of the leak. EDIT: They contacted me after seeing my review and have repaired the water spot on my ceiling. They also had my roof inspected again to ensure no further defects of new roof. Poor communication and my roof was leaking a couple weeks after the replacement. They did come back and look at roof leak, but they left without talking to me. I have not been able to get a response about getting my ceiling fixed where there is now water damage. I also have yet to receive the paper work about my warranty.

We called Thoroughbred for a quote and Shawn came out and gave us a very reasonable quote. Much less than the other quotes we got actually. We were super impressed when the crew showed up and showed out and did an amazing job! We highly recommend this company to our friends and family!

Was referred to this company by a friend of mine after the insurance company denied my claim and am very happy I made the call. They were able to secure me a full approval and then did an excellent job on the install. Always had issues with our chimney flashing but they got it all changed out (with copper) and supplied us with plenty of pics from during the install. Great communication and attention to detail. Would highly recommend them, especially if you need help with a claim.

I love how they didn’t push anything on us. Just gave us the facts and options. If you’re looking for a roofing company that communicates and actually shows up when they say, go with these guys.
